Retail Sales (Seasonal Position) - Part time position working with customers that come into the retail area to purchase various lawn and landscape supplies and materials.  Tasks may include, but are not limited to loading bag products, operating skid loader, watering and care of plant material, organizing and inventory control.  Candidates must have strong communication skills, possess the ability and obediance to work with the general public, complete appropriate paperwork, use various electronic equipment, handle money. 

Qualifications

• Availability to work a varied schedule including Saturdays and Sundays
• Previous experience in retail
• Knowledge of lawn and garden industry
• Ability to consistently lift 60+ pounds
• Stand for long periods of time with frequent bending and lifting
• Valid Drivers License with good record - Preferred

Lawn Maintenance Crew Member (Seasonal Position) - Assists Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader in the all areas of daily operations. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, operation of equipment (commercial zero-turn riding mowers, brake controlled walk behind mowers, line trimmers, blowers, etc.), equipment maintenance, trash / debris pickup, and assorted tasks that relate to lawn and landscape maintenance operations. Reports directly to Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader.

Qualifications

• Experience / Ability to operate listed equipment
  
• Ability to consistently lift 60+ pounds and walk 2+ miles per day
  
• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment maintenance

Responsible for directing crew of 1 – 4 laborers in daily operations including quality control, punctuality, and safety. Candidates must have strong organizational skills, ability to complete appropriate paperwork, and possess good leadership and communications skills.

Fertilization Technician (Seasonal Position) - Duties include, but are not limited to, spreading lawn fertilizer, grub control, premergent, weed control, etc. by pushing product in mechanical spreader.  Applying liquid lawn and shrub chemicals by power spraying equipment.  Completing state required paperwork, staking signs for lawn chemical applications, turf and weed identification, working knowledge of various lawn treatment programs, and direct communication with customers.

• Ability to consistently lift 60+ pounds
  
• Basic knowledge of turf, plant and weed identification
• State of Ohio Pesticide/Applicator License
• Valid Drivers License - REQUIRED
  
• Education: High School Diploma/GED - Preferred

• Previous experience as a Landscape Care Crew Member
  
• Strong Knowledge of plant care specifications, weed identification, and landscape care practices.
  
• Ability to consistently lift 60+ pounds
  
• State of Ohio Pesticide/Applicator License - Preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Valid Drivers License with good record - REQUIRED
  
• Education: High School Diploma/GED or higher - REQUIRED
